You wake up in a hospital, confined to a wheelchair. The only thing you can still control is where you look.

Description
An award-winning VR horror experience that feels your fear.
Hospitality VR reads your head movements. Whip your head around at every sound and the game knows you're scared – so it slows down, takes its time and lets the dread creep a little closer. Keep your cool, and it runs out of patience.
Sounds, shadows and flickering lights pull your gaze exactly where the experience wants it. No two check-ins play out the same – neither in length nor in intensity. About ten minutes at best. Look the wrong way and it takes longer. Much longer.
Key features
- Adaptive pacing – the experience reacts to how nervous you are: panic slows it down, calm speeds it up.
- Head tracking only – you sit in a wheelchair and can only look around. No controllers, no keyboard, no mouse.
- Tension over gore – psychological horror, violence is only implied.
- 10–17 minutes, depending on your nerves. Built for a single, intense session.
- Six festival laurels, including Best VR Game at the Chainsaw Film & Game Festival 2020.
History
Hospitality VR is the first game by David Flossdorf, a 3D artist from Frankfurt am Main who built it on his own in Unreal Engine. The idea: take away every way to act except looking – and let the game read that one remaining input. Hospitality VR was released on Steam on August 17, 2020, and went on to win or be selected at six international film and game festivals in 2020 and 2021.
